Refused have premiered a new track from their highly anticipated follow-up to 1998’s seminal The Shape of Punk to Come, Freedom, over at The Guardian. The new track is titled “Françafrique” and in contrast to the more blistering “Elektra”, the song revolves around a more pop-oriented groove with some funky brass accompaniment. It’s catchy for sure and definitely not what you would usually expect from the group. Check it out for yourself after the break.
Freedom will be released on June 30.
